Chlorosis starts in young leaves and proceeds to the older ones with ongoing deficiency. First leaves show chlorosis in the intercostal fields, later on they are uniformly light green or yellow. Often a reddish discoloration is visible. The leaves are stiff and curled inwards.
Sulfur deficiency on leaves Sulfur deficiency is similar in appearance to nitrogen deficiency, however it begins in younger leaves because sulfur is not as mobile as nitrogen within the plant.
