YaraLiva NITRABOR (15.4% N + 25.6% CaO + 0.3% B) is a field grade calcium nitrate fertiliser, with added boron suitable for field application to all crops especially brassicas which are more prone to calcium and boron deficiency.

YaraLiva NITRABOR is a dense granular fertiliser that spreads accurately when placed by hand or by machine (up to 24 metres).

It is a free-flowing material with a unique coating for dry applied uses. Its hygroscopic nature means that it readily dissolves when in contact with the soil in humid conditions or a night dew.

This formulation offers a low risk of scorch and is often used as a final topdressing to a wide range of high-value crops that have a requirement for extra boron and where soils are low in boron. Yara fertiliser bags now contain a minimum of 30% recycled plastic

Celery

Celery: Apply 400 to 600 kg/ha in the base dressing or broadcast, 960 kg/ha as a top dressing.

Courgette

Courgette (field grown): 645 kg/ha as a top dressing.

Cucumber

Cucumber (field grown): Apply 400 to 600 kg/ha in the base dressing (club root) or broadcast.

Leek

Leek: 600 kg/ha as a top dressing.

Spinach

Spinach: 350 kg/ha as a spring top dressing.

Squash

Squash (field grown): 645 kg/ha as a top dressing.

Pears

Pears: 250 kg/ha applied early spring prior to bud burst followed by 100-150 kg/ha top up at early fruitlet stage. 100-350 kg/ha autumn application post harvest, depending on variety.

Swede

Swede: 320 kg/ha as a spring top dressing.

Turnip

Turnip: 320 kg/ha as a spring top dressing.
