Symptômes
The leaves are cupped upwards and the whole plant has an upright appearance. Younger leaves show chlorotic leaf blades, while the leaf veins and a small margin around them remain green.
Raisons
Manganese deficiency.
Iron deficiency symptoms start like manganese deficiency as intercostal chlorosis on younger leaves, but only the veins remain green then, and not a margin around them.
A lack of Magnesium and Zinc causes similar symptoms, but occurs on older leaves first.
Sugar Beet: 1 l/ha from 4-6 leaf stage. For moderate to severe deficiency, repeat applications at 10-14 day intervals. Water rate: 200 l/ha.
