Small scale smoke effects are created by pouring Dry Ice Pellets into hot water. This escalates the sublimation of the Dry Ice from it's solid state, directly to Carbon Dioxide gas, which creates the smoke effect. Larger scale 'smoke effects' require the use of a smoke machine. These are frequently used by Professional Special Effects companies that support the Film Industry. Dry Ice can also be used by photographers and for Halloween effects in Clubs and local Theatres.
