Fresh, chilled and frozen products need gentle, protective and temperature-controlled transport to stay fresh and remain safe for consumption. Carbon Dioxide in the form of liquid Carbon Dioxide (LIC), Carbon Dioxide gas, or Dry Ice offers transit refrigeration for an unbroken cold chain. It is also an environmentally friendly alternative to conventional refrigerated transport systems.
Yara are able to provide systems that offer far greater control of your product temperature in the distribution chain, either in part (multitemp), or the entire vehicle with our partner Thermoking. Yara's Flexicold system also allows our customers to optimise their vehicle fleets, with maximum flexibility of either frozen, chilled or ambient goods - all with a standard non refrigerated vehicle.
