Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is widely used for freezing and chilling in the food industry to give a more rapid cooling process. When using CO2 to reduce the cooling period, a reduction in costs and increase in time efficiency is gained. In addition, freezing and chilling with CO2 also has a positive effect on final product quality. As a consequence, the food easily retains its taste, integrity and texture with minimal thawing and cooking losses. We also offer on site services to optimise our clients processes including technical evaluation of clients sites, CO2 storage and training support.
