Yara Analytical is located in the UK and receives samples from all over the world. Soil, tissue and water samples are analysed with state of the art equipment. Established in 1973, Yara Analytical has 38 years experience in research and commerical analytical services and continues to focus on improving value and service to the customer.
The acquisition and utilisation of accurate information in the form of analytical data is now fundamental to many decisions taken in a wide range of sectors.
For plant and crop production it enables nutrient and other inputs to be accurate and of increasing importance, taking account of environmental considerations. Futhermore, timely identification of potential problems in materials or areas shows the correct course of action to be taken preventing expensive remedial corrections at a later date.
In short, analysis provides the information required to ensure any decisions are accurate, efficient and cost effective.
Our laboratories have nearly 30 years experience in the production of independant analytical data from many different materials.
Specialising in the agricultural, environmental, horticultural and amenity sectors soils, plant tissue, organic materials and fertilisers are just some of the regularly received sample types.
We currently carry out approximately one million separate analyses on samples received, not only nationwide but also from over fifty destinations worldwide.
Our customer base goes from individuals to multi-national groups and includes independant consultants, research stations and government organisations.
Increasingly, our flexibility and capacity allows us to carry out contract analysis for other laboratories either on a short term basis or as a cost effective alternative to equipping or extending their own facilities.
This background gives us a unique ability in not only the provision of a broad spectrum of accurate analytical data, but also the information required to interpret and utilise this data more effectively for a given situation.
Our commitment to the best analytical instrumentation operated by qualified staff utilising up to date computer programmes and stringent quality control ensures all our customers receive a prompt and accurate service every time.
Analytical data on it's own is meaningless if the information it holds is not understandable. Our experienced advisory team are fully aware of this and make every effort to present the data in a straight forward manner. This extends to software packages, which include well researched guidelines or trigger concentrations coupled to interpretation and recommendations for corrective treatment where necessary and appropriate.
